Meeting Room Chat Policy

Introduction: Welcome to our meeting rooms! In order to maintain a productive and respectful environment for all participants, we have established the following guidelines for chat interactions during meetings. These rules are designed to ensure that everyone feels comfortable and valued during discussions.

  4. Be Mindful of Tone: Remember that tone can be easily misinterpreted in written communication. Be mindful of how your messages may come across to others and strive to maintain a positive and constructive tone.

  5. Confidentiality: Respect the confidentiality of sensitive information shared during meetings. Do not share confidential or proprietary information in the chat without proper authorization.

Consequences for Violations:

Failure to adhere to these chat guidelines may result in the following consequences:

  • Warning: Participants may receive a warning from the meeting moderator for violating chat rules.
  • Muting or Removal: In cases of repeated or severe violations, participants may be muted or removed from the meeting room at the discretion of the moderator.

Reporting Violations:

If you encounter any violations of the chat policy during a meeting, please report them to the meeting moderator immediately. Your feedback helps us maintain a respectful and inclusive environment for all participants.
